Including fallacies in advertising can be effective but dangerous at the same time. For example, aspirins are advertised through telling people that if they feel tired when they get up in the morning, they should take an aspirin so that they can face the day. This may be effective because a lot of people work long hours and feel naturally tired. Besides, they turn on the TV when they get back home in the evening and see these sorts of commercials. They will believe in them since they will have to get up and go to work the following day. However, this may be dangerous because people can develop addiction to drugs.

In my opinion, we should not believe in advertisements. The fact that people feel tired because of their work is a real problem. We can feel identified with that problem but the solution cannot be an aspirin. The advertisement shows us the problem but the solution is dangerous; our health is affected. If our health is the problem, we should see our doctor. Doctors will give us true facts. As a result, we will become better consumers because we will take from the market what is really good for us and we will not believe just in anything. For example , we will just believe in advertisments that show the good effects of eating healthy food and doing exercises.

REPSOST* (giving brainleist)
Firlakuza [10]

Explanation:

Read the two arguments. First, identify the similar claim in both passages. Then, explain which argument is more effective in supporting that claim and why. Make sure you include specific references to each argument when developing your response.

Passage

Argument 1:

One thing's for sure: We don't want to be caught unprepared the way we were last winter. Before November rolls around, Mountain City needs more heavy equipment to clear the roads and keep our drivers and pedestrians safe. During the winter season last year, consumers flocked to the Mountain City Mall in record numbers. This included many people from the surrounding towns of Mitchell and Pike, and studies show that those two towns are home to notoriously bad drivers. Keeping the roads clear will ensure we're all much safer.

Argument 2:

Mountain City needs to purchase more snow plows and snow-removal equipment. Over the last two winters, we all saw how the snow piled up because the city wasn't able to remove it. Two of the four main streets that cross the city were blocked for well over two months. In addition, traffic accidents nearly doubled last winter, and according to safety officer Rich Daddy, "the vast majority of the new winter accidents were because of snow." With an even more severe winter predicted by forecasters for this year, it's time to get the equipment we desperately need.

What's a good statement for "The boy in the stripped pajamas" Relating to the theme Frendship And Family
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

A good statement on this topic would be "Bruno strives to fulfill his role in the family, but maintains his friendship with Shmuel.

Explanation:

"The boy in the stripped pajamas" was written by John Boyne and portrays the story of Bruno, a German boy who is the son of a high-ranking German general, during World War II. Due to his father's profession, Bruno is forced to move to another city and leave all his friends and memories behind. He hates this change, but understands that it is important for his father's success and for that reason, he strives to adapt to the change and help the family in this time of adjustment.

In this new place, Bruno is faced with the fences of a concentration camp. He doesn't know anything about Nazism, nor about the extermination of Jews, but when he looks at the fence, he notices the presence of a child, very thin and wearing a striped pajamas. This child is Shmuel, a Jewish boy trapped in a concentration camp. Bruno and Shmuel start to be friends, although they can't meet beyond the fence.

One day Bruno's father tells him that he can't keep in touch with the people behind the fence and that they aren't real people. Bruno's father reinforces that it is important for him to stay away from the fences, so as not to cause problems for the family. Bruno is worried that he might cause problems for the family and complies with all the rules imposed on him, except for breaking up his friendship with Shmuel. This attitude of Bruno is the main point of the theme Family and Friendship.

Which source of recruitment is needed to bring new blood in the organisation
AVprozaik [17]

Answer:

External source of recruitment

Explanation:

Internal source of recruitment does not provide new blood as it implies re-hiring, promoting, or transferring persons who are already working or have worked for the company. So, external source of recruitment is needed to bring new blood into the organization. That can be achieved in multiple ways, as the external source suggests people joining the organization through recommendations, then there are employment agencies whose occupation is finding all sorts of candidates. Also, companies can visit schools and colleges in order to find new candidates. Companies can advertise job positions to the wide public, they also can hire candidates who are not so skilled right now, but can learn in the future. So, there are some of the most spread ways of finding new candidates and bringing new blood.

Which sentence uses the positive of an adverb?
Anvisha [2.4K]
The most basic modification an adverb performs is that found in a standard adverb phrase, or when an adverb modifies a verb to specify how an action was performed, either in manner, frequency, purpose, place or time. In the sentence, "She drove slowly," the adverb "slowly" modifies how she drove. Notice that the phrasing, "She slowly drove" would also be acceptable.
