Answer: Protein is use as major fuel for the body when other fuel are unavailable.

Explanation:

Fuel for body are the energy needed to perform daily activities by the body. The main fuel for the body is carbohydrates such as starches which is the broken down to glucose which is the main energy source. Protein is use as body fuel when other sources of body fuel are not available because protein is an essential part of the tissues that perform both structural and functional role and its synthesize important enzymes and hormones, it is use as body fuel when there is energy starvation and it only contribute 5 percent of energy source.

Answer:

1 protein

Explanation:

Protein becomes source of energy in absence of fats and Carbohydrate. This is what takes place in extreme starvation; For example in fasting, when supplies of Carbohydrate and Fats are depleted,  cellular  protein  in the body especially muscles cells begin to breakdown, to amino acids. The Amino acids are converted in the liver to GLUCOSE.This is GLUCONEOGENESIS.

The breakdown of muscle protein causes loss of muscle mass and drop of weight during starvation.

How can the structure of DNA affect the structure of proteins
lina2011 [118]
Protein Function and Malfunction in Cells. Transcription and translation ensure that a linear array of nucleotides in the DNA of a gene will be converted into a linear array of amino acids in the primary polypeptide chain. There is a precise correspondence of codons in DNA to amino acids in protein.

Hope this helps :)

1. Lipids, carbohydrates, and DNA all exist in human cells as long molecular chains. Which of the following describes how DNA di
Nutka1998 [239]

Answer:

1. D. Only DNA contains genetic information

2. D. Nitrogen and Phosphorus

Explanation:

1. Lipids are insoluble in water unlike other molecules. It stores energy within the fat tissues and cushion internal organs against trauma.

Carbohydrates are sugar units such as monosaccharides, disaccharides molecules which makes up starch that is fuel to your cells.

DNA is a type of nucleic acid that contains genetic information which influences your personal characteristics.

2. The family Rhopalodiaceae has the ability to perform nitrogen fixation, which allows diatoms to fix atmospheric nitrogen. And phosphorus has been found in some diatom species in the Black sea region which does not affect its reproduction rate and also helps in carbon cycle.
