Explanation:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), also known as magnetic resonance tomography (MRI) or nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (MRI, or NMRI) is a non-invasive technique that uses the phenomenon of nuclear magnetic resonance to obtain information about the structure and composition of the body to be analyzed. This information is processed by computers and transformed into images inside what has been analyzed.

It is mainly used in medicine to observe alterations in tissues and detect cancer and other pathologies. It is also used industrially to analyze the structure of both organic and inorganic materials.

MRI should not be confused with nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, a technique used in chemistry that uses the same principle of magnetic resonance to obtain information about the composition of materials.

Unlike computerized axial tomography (CT), it does not use ionizing radiation, but magnetic fields to align the nuclear magnetization of (usually) hydrogen nuclei of water in the body. These nuclei resonate at a frequency proportional to the magnetic field exerted so that a radiofrequency (RF) fields can be applied to systematically alter the alignment of the spins of that magnetization, causing the hydrogen nuclei to produce a rotational magnetic field detectable by the scanner. That signal can be manipulated with additional magnetic fields and thus build more images of the body

How are vestigial structures an example of evidence of evolution?
lutik1710 [3]
They provide evidence of genes coding for structures that are present not because they are useful, but because they were once useful to an ancestor.

<span>One example is the plantaris muscle. This is a long, thin muscle in the human foot and calf that serves no significanl purpose in humans ... in fact, it is regularly removed by doctors harvesting muscle tissue to use in reconstructive heart surgery, because its removal leaves no loss of function in walking or balance. </span>

<span>However this same muscle is found more fully developed in the feet and calves of other primates. It is the muscle used for grasping with the feet.</span>

Identify the state of DNA (just DNA, in a plasmid, or in a virus) that is transferred from one organism to another in transforma
just olya [345]

Answer:  The correct answer is :  The state of the DNA that is transferred from one organism to another is Naked DNA.

Griffith's experiment went like this:

* Rough strain

* do not cap

Smooth strain

* capsule

* virulent (pathogenic) avirulent

Through DNA-mediated transformation, bacteria enter the DNA

Smooth strain (capsule) -> killed the mouse

Rough strain (no capsule) -> no effect on mouse

Heat killed smooth strain -> no effect on mouse

Heat killed smooth strain + living rough strain mixed -> killed the mouse
