x-2x= 8-23

-x = -15
x=15

2)x+23=2x+8
x-2x=8-23
x= 15

WU= UW= x+23=15+23= 38

3)UV=UW+WV

UV= x+23 + 2x+8

UV=15+23+2*15+8

UV=38+38

UV=76

4) YA=YZ+ ZA

YA= x+12 +6x -13

YA=7x -1

x=15

YA=7*15-1

YA=105-1

YA=104
