Answer:

V=40\ in^3

Step-by-step explanation:

The graph is not attached, however we know that, the volume of a triangular pyramid is given by the formula

V=\frac{1}{3}Bh

where

B is the area of the triangular face

h is the height of the pyramid

we have

B=12\ in^2\\h=10\ in

substitute the given values

V=\frac{1}{3}(12)(10)=40\ in^3

I believe you meant to write
log_{2}(x+2) + log_{2}(x-2)  \leq  log_{2}(5) ?
If that's the case I'll solve the one I provided but I'll drop the base 2 to type it faster but you need to put it always!
Remember: log a + log b = log (a*b)
So log (x+2) + log (x-2) = log [(x+2)*(x-2)] = log (x^2 - 4)
Now back to the inequality:
log (x^2 - 4) <span>≤ log 5
Raise both sides as powers of 2 ( Since it's the base of your log)
Now,
x^2 - 4 </span><span>≤ 5
Add 4 both sides:
x^2 </span>≤ 9
Square root both sides
x ≤ +3 or x ≤ -3
Reject the -3 solution as it makes both (x + 2) and (x - 2) negative and a log can never have a negative value inside its brackets.
So x <span>≤ 3 But can never be less than 2 as well for the same previous reason.
Hope that helped.</span>

Find the distance between the points (-3, 4) and (1, 7).
makvit [3.9K]

Use distance formula d=sqrt root (y2-y1)^2+(x2-x1)^2. So  (-3, 4) and (1, 7). D= sqrt root ( 7-4)^2+(-3+1)^2. So now solve d= sqrt (3)^2+(-2)^2. Now d= sqrt 9+4. D= sqrt 13 or 3.60555

14. A wheel turns through 90 revolutions per minute.
Mazyrski [523]

1 revolution = 360 degrees

360 degrees x 90 revolutions per minute = 32,400 degrees per minute.

1 minute = 60 seconds.

32,400 degrees per minute / 60 seconds = 540 degrees per second.

what is the answer to The value of y is directly proportional to the value of X. If y=55, when X=120, what is the value of y whe
allsm [11]

Answer:

27.5

Step-by-step explanation:

y = kx

55 = 120k

k = 55/120

y = 55/120 x 60

y = 55/2

y = 27.5
