ABCD is a square

Mathematics

Look at line CDF and see how it includes all 3 shapes.

The angle of the square is 90 and the equilateral triangle is 60 because 180/3

90 + 60= 150

180 - 150 = 30

Angle ADE is 30 degrees

Since it is an isosceles triangle, the base angels are the same so angle AED is also 30 degrees

You know that DEF is equal to 60 so...

60 + 30 = 90 degrees

Hope this helps and have a nice day!

what is the final amount of 17.50 that is put into a saving account with 4 annual interest rate compounded yearly for 25 years?
pickupchik [31]
To find the total amount, you will use the formula for finding compounded interest.  This means you will be paid interest on top of the interest you have earned each year.

A = P(1 + r)^nt
P stands for the principal.
r is the interest rate when compounded annually
nt is the number of years

A = 17.50(1 + 0.04)^25
A = $46.65

This person would have $46.65 after 25 years.

The cargo carrying part of Billy‘s truck has a length of 8.3 m a width of 3 m and a height of 4.2 m. What is the maximum volume
madam [21]
You're really just finding the volume of the cargo-carry part.

V= L x W x H

V= 8.3m x 3m x 4.2m

V= 104.58 m3 or 105 m3 (rounded)

ANSWER: The maximum volume of sand Billy's truck can carry is about 105 m3.

For what values of x is the trinomial 2x^2-x+55 equal to the square of binomial x+5
jeka94

Answer:

x = 6 , 5. For these values of x they are equal.

Step-by-step explanation:

2x²  - x + 55 =(x +5)²

2x² - x + 55 = x² + 2*x*5 + 5²

2x² - x + 55 = x² + 10x + 25

2x² - x + 55 - x²  - 10x - 25 = 0

2x² - x² - x - 10x + 55 - 25 = 0

x² - 11x + 30 = 0

x² -6x - 5x  + 30 = 0

x(x - 6) - 5(x - 6) = 0

(x - 6)(x - 5) = 0

x - 6 = 0 ;  x - 5 = 0

x = 6      ;      x = 5
