<em>Marine debris</em> is the waste generated by humans accidentally or intentionally released into sea or ocean and poses a problem to both human and aquatic life.
The objects that commonly form marine debris are soda bottles, plumbing pipes, tooth brushes, drinking straws, detergent bottles, polyester clothing etc.
According to United Nations<em>, it is a solvable problem if correct measures and efforts are taken to combat it. </em>
