Answer:

-200 N

Explanation:

Force: This can be defined as the product of mass and acceleration The S.I unit is N

The expression for force is given as

F = m(v-u)/t................... Equation 1

Where F = Impact force, m = mass of the lorry , v = Final velocity of the lorry , u = initial velocity of the lorry, t = time

Given: m = 6000 kg, v = 0 m/s (the lorry was stopped), u = 0.5 m/s, t = 1.5 s

Substitute into equation 1

F = 6000(0-0.5)/1.5

F = -300/1.5

F = -200 N.

Note: The negative sign shows that the impact force act in opposite direction to the initial motion of the lorry

Answer:

Impact force is 3000Nsec

Explanation:

The impact force is called Impulse.

impulse is the product of the average force acting on a article and the time during which it acts;

Impulse(I)=Force x Time

Time= 1.5seconds

Force= Mass x velocity/time

Force=6000 x 0.5/1.5

Force=2000N

therefore;

Impulse(I)=2000 x 1.5

I=3000Nsec

Sedaia [141]

Answer:

7.1934 x 10^12 V/m.s

Explanation:

In order to do this exercise, you need to use the correct formula. Besides that, we need to identify our data.

First we have the radius of the plates which are circular, and it's 0.1 m. The current of the loop (I) is 2.0 A, and the radius of the loop is 0.2 m.

Now with this data, we use the next formula:

I = dE/dt Eo A

Where:

dE/dt = rate of electric field

Eo = constant of permittivity of free space

A = Area of circle

Solving for dE/dT:

dE/dt = I / Eo*A

Now, the area of the circle is A = πr²

A = 3.1416 * (0.1)² = 0.031416 m²

Now solving the electric field:

dE/dt = 2 / (8.85x10^-12 * 0.031416)

dE/dt = 7.1934 x 10^12 V/m.s

What is the formula for acceleration.
Trava [24]
The formula for acceleration, or average acceleration, is a=(vf-vi) divided by (tf-ti) .
a= Acceleration (or average acceleration
vf= Final Velocity
vi= Initial Velocity
tf= Final Time
ti= Initial Time
