Answer:

The correct answer is, indeed, B: Set a driving curfew. This was the only strategy that the U.S., government and the state governments did not impose on Americans, during the Oil Crisis of 1973.

Explanation:

The Oil Crisis of 1973 was a situation that arose when OPEC countries, the main oil producers in the world, decided to limit oil exports to the United States and other countries who had supported Israel against Egypt in the Yom Kippur War, causing a shortage of oil that caused a huge rise of oil prices. The recession was extremely severe all over the world, and especially in the United States, during the Nixon presidency and both the federal government and the state governments were forced to take severe measures to sort out the shortage of gas. Among the strategies used were: the imposition of speed limits to 55 mph, the daylights saving strategy between 1974 and 1975, established the days that drivers could get gas, depending on their plate numbers and established gas price´s controls as people began to be unable to afford gas, since the prices were too high and unemployment was exacerbated.

What two things would change if you swapped out dichloromethane and used ethyl acetate instead? why would those change?.
xxMikexx [17]

If dichloromethane is swapped out and ethyl acetate is used in its place, the extracts then obtained would be highly anti-radical and would be more efficient than dichloromethane.

Since "like dissolves like," ethyl acetate is a polar molecule that works well as a solvent to extract the polar caffeine molecules from coffee beans. The ethyl acetate molecules bind to the caffeine molecules, which then move through the bean cells' cell membranes. After all, the ethanol:water (1:1) solvent combination has been demonstrated to be the best for recovering catechins and delivering extracts with the highest antiradical activity.

Dichloromethane is a volatile colourless liquid used as an organic solvent in many industries. One of its main application is that it used to extract caffeine because of its highly effective solvent nature. Because DCM is a non-polar solvent and caffeine is readily soluble in DCM, it can easily be extracted without losing its aroma.

The collapse of the Soviet Union had which effect on international relations?
a_sh-v [17]
I think the answer is letter <span>B. Democracy spread, and the United States became the world’s sole superpower

The fall of USSR had allowed democracy and independence amongst the countries that were under the USSR. Gorbachev unknowingly gave people the right to express themselves.  With USSR down, the US was able to stop the cold war and become a superpower.
