Case 5: Becky, age 42, was brought in by local law enforcement after she was found running naked through the town park. When ask

ed what she was doing, she said that it "felt good to be free." When the police asked her to come with them, she became combative and had to be handcuffed. She continued to hiss and spit at the officers until arriving at the hospital, where she smiled broadly and yelled, "Home sweet home!" During your interview with her, she seems very excitable but pleasant. She mentions that her run through the park was a celebration. When you ask what she is celebrating, she says that she has been feeling rather down for the past two weeks, but that today she felt great and decided to celebrate with a run. What diagnosis and symptoms would you give becky?

Answer and explanation:

By reading these lines above, considering the scenario described and they behaviour of the patients, I can deduce that what she decided to do was something purely out of impulse. She acted on impulse after a massive feeling of joy that overcame her after having two bad emotionally weeks. Also, she acts nicely in a moment and then agressively changes her behaviours from one second to another. I would guess that the pacient has <u>bipolar disorder.</u>

Which of these does not describe how the Greek government regulated the economy of Ancient Greece?
beks73 [17]
The correct answer is: B) it placed taxes on purchase of all goods
Ancient Greece did not have a system for direct taxation, therefore, it cannot place tax over the purchase of all goods. At the time, tax was only collected from the wealthiest Greeks during times of need (usually war).

Write two quotes which explain hucks experience with school or with his friends then comment on the quotes
fenix001 [56]

Answer:

"At first I hated the school, but by and by I got so I could stand it. Whenever I got uncommon tired I played hookey, and the hiding I got next day done me good and cheered me up.  So the longer I went to school the easier it got to be". (Chapter IV)

"I didn’t want to go to school much before, but I reckoned I’d go now to spite pap." (Chapter VI)

Explanation:

<em>"At first I hated the school, but by and by I got so I could stand it. ...... So the longer I went to school the easier it got to be". (Chapter IV)</em>

<em>"I didn’t want to go to school much before, but I reckoned I’d go now to spite pap." (Chapter VI)</em>

These two quotes from the text of Mark Twain's "Huckleberry Finn" shows the typical bildungsroman tradition of writers in their works. It shows the character's development and maturity from a low position of his life.

The first quote shows Huck expressing his hatred at being made to attend school, but which he gradually began to like, though not fully. He even admitted his liking of the school, saying it got easier for him the more he attends it.

The second quote from Chapter VI shows his changed attitude to attending school. Before, he went to school for his own good but now, he's even more adamant to be in school just so that he could spite his father. His father had warned him against going to school, getting education, threatening him that "<em>if I catch you about that school I’ll tan you good</em>". His motive now is to annoy and offend his father.

Most student speakers have enough material from their own lives on which to base an entire speech.
ivanzaharov [21]
That statement is false.
Most student speakers tend to not have enough material because their lives up to this point are still revolves around school and home.
They still haven't faced any challenged that might endanger them and haven't experience enough relationship with other people to truly understand how social groups work.
