Answer: The option that has a synonym restatement is B. Werner Faymann became the prime minister, or chancellor, of Austria.

Explanation: A synonym is a word or phrase that shares a meaning or a very similar meaning with another word or phrase. In sentence B.<u>, the term "prime minister" is restated by using one of its synonyms: "chancellor"</u>. <u>In Austria, the the word "chancellor", as well as "prime minister", makes reference to the title of head of government</u>. Therefore, in sentence B., "or chancellor" is a synonym restatement for "prime minister".

Poach
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

poach, or "to poach" is from the Middle English word "pocchen".

It means bagged, enclosed in a bag, or like a pouch.

The word poaching is a noun and is the illegal practice of trespassing on another person's property to hunt or kill game without permission from the person who owns the land.

Can be used as a verb - he is poaching/he is trespassing, stealing, taking fish or game illegally

Explanation:

I would think that the most common would be to trespass on someone's property to hunt or fish without permission.  (4)

If you are in a part of the world that eats a lot of eggs, then poach is used as a verb to cook  - to poach eggs - poach in a hot liquid but not boiling.

People should not poach wildlife for money.

What is the relationship between freedom and responsibility ?
s344n2d4d5 [400]
I would say that responsibility is an unwritten aspect of freedom because whether or not you want this to occur, freedom brings with it responsibility. Part of having freedom means being able to make your own decisions, which requires that one have responsibility in order to make smart choices.
