So lets make this a simple math question. I don't know if the 10. is the question number or not, but anyway. If its 4 sweets, then its 4x=28 x=7 7p each sweet, 7p*7 total sweets= 49p.

If its 10.4 sweets then its just as simple...
10.4x=28p x=2.69. 2.69 *  7 sweets = 18.84p

Use this information for exercises 11-14.parents are older than their children.the ratio of a parent´sage to a child´s age chang
Shtirlitz [24]
I think 11 is yes, if the parent is 40 and the child is 20. (and they had kids when they were young) 12 is yes, if the parent is 30 and the child is 10. 13 is yes, if the parent is 60 and the child is 40. unlikely though, but who cares. 14 is no, the parent would have been really young when they gave birth to the child. like 10.

At the carnival, Nick scored 2 points for each basket. He also received a bonus of 10 points. If Nick's total score was 90 point
ASHA 777 [7]
2x + 10 = 90 is our equation.
2x (x, the amount of baskets he made)
10 (the original bonus)
90 (total points)
Subtract 10 from both sides to get 2x by itself.
2x = 80
Divide by 2 to get x.
x = 40.
Nick made 40 baskets.

Divide the following polynomial by 3.c.<br> 27x²y – 15xy
dezoksy [38]

Answer:

9x^2y-5xy

Step-by-step explanation:

Split it up like this to make it easier to work with:

\frac{27x^2y}{3}-\frac{15xy}{3}

Since the only thing in the denominator of those fractions is a 3, we can only divide the 27 by 3, not the x or y terms.  Same thing with the second fraction.  27 divided by 3 is 9 and 15 divided by 3 is 5, so

9x^2y-5xy

is the solution.  It is not completely simplified, but that isn't what you asked for, so this should suffice as the answer.
