100\sqrt{3} is how long the shadow would be.

To solve, remember the ratio for a 30/60/90 triangle:
short side = x
long side = x\sqrt{3}
hypotenuse = 2x

the short side is the building, which is 100, so the long side is 100\sqrt{3}

One vendor can serve 1500 customers per hour. in 4 hours he can serve 6000 customers & we have to serve 50000 fans so for this purpose we need 50000 / 6000 that is 8.••• vendors so in short we need 9 vendors at all so they can serve all the 50000 fans

Without graphing or solving either system of equations explain how you know what the solution to the system is.
Sonbull [250]

x = 5

y = -1

Step-by-step explanation:

from second equation,

  • y = -2 + 1
  • y = -1

by putting the value of y in first equation

  • y = -x + 4
  • -1 = -x + 4
  • -x = -1 -4
  • -x = -5
  • x = 5

x = 5 and y = -1
