Both confucianism and buddhism have had enormous influence outside the regions where they began. explain how their influence was intentionally spread, and what role trade and technology had in the spread of their influence.

Some others things you may want to consider adding is that Confucius places a great emphases on family. Comparing family unit to a government. Also to discuss the five relationships. Confucianism also believed that if society could follow the five relationships there would be peace and stability. It also placed emphases on education which is evident on picking government officials based on merit. 

On the other hand,  science is knowledge which can be made into a system, which depends upon seeing and testing facts and stating general natural laws. The core of Buddhism fit into this definition, because the Four Noble truths can be tested and proven by anyone in fact the Buddha himself asked his followers to test the teaching rather than accept his word as true. Buddhism depends more on understanding than faith.
