Help !!! can somebody please help me find the exponential growth function for this table .
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

The formula for exponential growth is written as y = a(1 + RATE)^time

where a is the starting value, rate is the percentage of growth written as a decimal and time in this case would be the number of days.

You are given the growth rate as 11% and the starting day was day 1.

Since the table only goes to 10 days, you can use 10 as the time, or use X as an exponent if you need to calculate more than 10 days.

Using all this information, the formula becomes y = 1(1.11)^10 for 10 days or y = 1(1.11)^x for any number of days needed.

What is the equation of the line
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

It's the first choice y = (-5/2)x - 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

First find the slope of the line 5x + 2y = 12 by converting to slope-intercept form.

5x + 2y = 12

2y = -5x + 12

y = (-5/2)x + 6   so the slope is (-5/2).

The line we require had also a slope of -5/2 because it is parallel to the first line and it also passes through the point (-2, 4). So:

y - 4 = (-5/2)(x - -2)      (the point-slope form)

y - 4 = (-5/2)(x + 2)

y = (-5/2)x - 5 + 4

y = (-5/2)x - 1  (answer)

Which set of ordered pairs has point symmetry with respect to the origin (0, 0)? (5, 4), (-5, -4) (5, 4), (5, -4) (5, 4), (4, 5)
Sidana [21]

The set of ordered pair that has point symmetry in respect to origin is (5, 4), (-5, -4).

What is the point of symmetry?

This is a term that is used to refer to the points that are on the same distance from the origin but are on opposite sides.

The line that connects the points are known to move through the origin such that when measured on the graph, the distances between these points but they are opposite because they are in negatives and positives on the two sides.
