Anterograde amnesia is a condition characterised by the inability to create new memories, which causes the person to forget recent events. However, the patient can remember all the long-term memories from before the event that caused the amnesia.
The causes and treatment for anterograde amnesia are mostly unknown, as the processes of memory storing have not been understood fully yet.
