we are given

\int \:\frac{4}{\left(x+1\right)\left(x-1\right)^2}dx

we can use partial fraction method

firstly , we will find partial fraction

\frac{1}{\left(x+1\right)\left(x-1\right)^2}:\quad \frac{1}{4\left(x+1\right)}-\frac{1}{4\left(x-1\right)}+\frac{1}{2\left(x-1\right)^2}

=4\cdot \int \:\frac{1}{4\left(x+1\right)}-\frac{1}{4\left(x-1\right)}+\frac{1}{2\left(x-1\right)^2}dx

now, we can distribute integral

=4\left(\int \frac{1}{4\left(x+1\right)}dx-\int \frac{1}{4\left(x-1\right)}dx+\int \frac{1}{2\left(x-1\right)^2}dx\right)

now, we can solve each

=4\left(\frac{1}{4}\ln \left|x+1\right|-\frac{1}{4}\ln \left|x-1\right|-\frac{1}{2\left(x-1\right)}\right)

=\ln \left|x+1\right|-\ln \left|x-1\right|-\frac{2}{x-1}+C...........Answer

Law Incorporation [45]

Answer:

y-1 = 5/3(x-3)

Choice C

Step-by-step explanation:

slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

(3,1) (6,6)

m = (6-1)/(6-3)

m = (5/3)

the point slope form of a line is given by

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

You have point (3,1)

y-1 = 5/3(x-3)

Choice C

What is the measure of the angle?
AveGali [126]
We know the full protractor measures 180 degrees.

We need to know what angle it is on. By looking at it, it looks like it is on 135.

180-135= 45

The angle is 45 <em>degrees.

I hope this helps!

Aleks [24]

Answer:

The sigma notation would look like this:

∞

Σ       48(1/4)^i-1

i = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

I can't seem to find a good way to make it more connected so I'll just have to tell you. The ∞ is above the ∑, while the i = 1 is under it. That is all one thing. The rest is followed as normal, and it is all next to the ∑

Which transformations could have occurred to map AABC
babymother [125]

Answer:

A reflection and a dialation

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. Reflection is when you flip a figure over a line.
  2. Rotation is when you rotate a figure a certain degree around a point.
  3. Dilation is when you enlarge or reduce a figure.

In this case a rotation is not nessasary, so I would suggest a reflection in the y-axis and a dialation to shrink the triangle to A'B'C'

So for the transformations that could have occurred to map ABC to A'B'C' you should choose the answer

a reflection and a dialation
