Answer:

first lets calculate f(1)=g(1)+2

a+b+c=a-b+c+2 so b=1

next lets calculate f(2)=2 remembering that we found b=1

4a+2*1+c=2 so c=-4a

Now lets find g(2)

g(2)=4a-2b+c= -c-2+c=-2 this is the final response

Answer:

The answer to your question

a) Values excluded = -2, 0

b) solutions = -2/3, 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Equation

                        \frac{4x}{2x + 4} = \frac{x+ 2}{2x}

a) x is restricted when the denominators equal zero, so let's get them.

                 2x + 4 = 0                           2x =  0

                 2x = - 4                                  x = 0 / 2

                 x = -4 / 2                               x = 0

                 x = -2

x must be different to -2, 0

b)                   \frac{4x}{2x + 4} = \frac{x+ 2}{2x}

                      \frac{2x}{x + 2} = \frac{x + 2}{2x}

                      4x² = (x + 2)²

                      4x² = x² + 4x + 4

                     4x² - x² - 4x - 4 = 0

                      3x² - 4x - 4 = 0

                      3x² - 6x + 2x - 4 = 0

                     3x(x - 2) + 2(x - 2) = 0

                     (x - 2)(3x + 2) = 0

                      x₁ - 2 = 0                  3x₂ + 2 = 0

                     x₁ = 2                         x₂ = -2/3
