according to the question, there are 420 silver birch trees, 160 oak trees and 300 wild berry trees.

we have to find the percentage of the oak trees.

total number of trees = 420 + 160 + 300

= 880 trees

no. of oak trees is given = 160

therefore it's percentage = 160/880 × 100

= 16/88 × 100

= 2/11 × 100

= 200/11

= 18.18% (approx.)

420+160+300=880
Next you need to divide the amount of oak trees by the amount of trees in the woods:
160÷880=0.182 (rounded)
Finally to find the precentage we need to multiply the 0.182 by 100 to get the precentage of 18.2% oak trees.
