son4ous [18]

Answer:

63 mph

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

 • Trip duration = 12 hours
 • First half duration = 7 hours
 • First half speed = 45 mph

To find:

 • Return speed = ?

Solution:

 • One way distance = 7*45 = 315 miles
 • Time on return = 12 - 7 = 5 hours
 • Average speed on return trip= 315 / 5 = 63 mph

FIND THE VOLUME!
PLEASE HELP ME ASAP!!!
Thank you!
Lots of love...?
mestny [16]
The correct answer is 96 ft³. In order to find the volume of a prism, you first have to find the area of the faces and then multiply by the distance between them. In this case, we're finding the area of a triangle using the base, 6, and the height, 4, and then multiplying by 8.

A = 1/2bh Area of a triangle
A = 1/2(4 x 6) Substitute
A = 24 / 2 Multiply
A = 12

So, the area of the triangle is 12 ft². Now, we just multiply that by 8 to get the answer.

12 x 8 = 96

So, the volume of the triangular prism is 96 ft³.

Hope this helps!

I am having trouble with linear graph equations 2y+x=-5
allochka39001 [22]
Make it into slope intercept form which is y=mx+b
subtract x ffrom both sides
2y=-5-x
divide by 2
y=-1/2x-5/2

y=mx+b
m=slope
b=y intercept or where the line passes through the y-axis

now one way is to graph points by subsituting
if x is 0 then y=-5//2
if x=1 then y=-3
if x=-5 then y=0

another way is to find out where the line passes though the y and x axis or the y and x intecepts respectively

the y intercept is when x=0
the x intecept is when y=0

so set each to zero and solve
if x=0
y=-1/2(0)-5/2
y=-5/2
the line passes throught the y axis at -5/2, plot the point (0,-5/2) on the y axis

then set y to zero
0=-1/2x-5/2
add 5/2 to both sides
5/2=-1/2x
multiply -1
-5/2=1/2x
multiply by 2
-5=x
therefor the line passes through tthe x axis at (-5,0)
then draw the line between the 2 points

here is the graph
