Answer: First answer is D- Fluorescent.

Second Answer is B- Asphyxia

Third answer is C- Thin layer chromatography and Infra Spectrometry.

Explanation:

Fluorescent powders for forensic use are developed to be used with a variety of light sources especially ultraviolet lights and are used to extract latent prints from dark surfaces and multicoloured surfaces where the prints and the surfaces and indistinguishable. They are also good for extracting latent prints from wooden surfaces. When applied, the hues of the fluorescent powder can be matched to the colour of the surfaces and the wavelength of the light source will be used. This way, it eliminates any background interference that may occur from the surface colour during extraction of latent print.

In forensic investigation, a cause of death means the injury or disease that lead to death. Asphyxiation is a condition where the body experiences insufficient supply of oxygen to continue its normal function. Common causes of asphyxia are choking, suffocation, drowning and strangulation. In general, for asphyxiation to occur, something physical is blocking the airways or lungs from receiving sufficient oxygen.

Thin layer chromatography is an economical and efficient technique used in separating mixtures of solids and liquids that are non-volatile in nature. It is used to separate compounds in a mixture. Infra red spectrometry is the interaction of infrared radiation with matter. It is used to study chemical substances of solid, liquid and gas. Thin layer chromatography and infra red spectrometry are good complements which are useful in analytical and research laboratories for analyzing molecules and different compounds especially for diverse complex researches.

<span>1. The investigator should use fluorescent fingerprint powder, so that the prints will be visible on the dark surface when a special kind of light is used.

2. A possible cause of death would be asphyxia, and is one of the most common causes of death that involve murder and violence.

3. C. thin layer chromatography and Infrared spectrometry

Salt water gargle can temporarily relieve a sore throat. One recipe calls for 3/4 teaspoon of salt in 1 cup of water. A second r
LiRa [457]

Answer:

I believe the one with 2 cups of water will be saltier

Explanation:

When you change the fractions to a common denominator, which is 12, you see the recipe with 1 cup should be half of the recipe with 2 cups. But the one with 2 cups is more than double the recipe with 1 cup.

How does an enveloped virus gain/obtain/get its envelope?
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

The envelope come from the host cell membrane as the virus leaves the host cell

Explanation:

A virus is an organism that is incapable of replicating on its own without infecting a living host. A virus consists of a genetic material (DNA or RNA) , a protein coat called CAPSID, and sometimes some viruses possess an envelope, which is an outer covering or enclosure. Viruses that possess this envelope are referred to as ENVELOPED VIRUS.

The virus lacks the ability to produce any structure, hence, they gain this envelope made of phospholipid from the cell membrane of the host they infect. During the infection cycle of a virus, a process called budding enables a portion of the host's plasma membrane to cover or encapsulate the virion cells, hence, making them enveloped in the process.

Which statement does not explain the concept of the Doppler effect ?
sesenic [268]

Answer:

Doppler effect is a change in frequency and wavelength of a wave. It is caused by the change in distance between the thing creating the wave (causer) and whatever is measuring seeing or hearing the wave (watcher or observer). Another word for "causer" is "sender".

Increased force output of the synergists for hip extension to compensate for the weakened gluteus maximus is an example of which
olga_2 [115]

Answer:

b. Synergistic dominance

Explanation:

The stabilizing muscles will always be <u>synergistic</u>, since only from the synergies (hence the term synergist) that arise from joint work is efficient and controlled movement possible. However, not all synergists will be stabilizers. Stabilizer will be one that, thanks to the geometric arrangement of its fibers, will have the ability to maintain alignment in the joint and stable the axis of rotation.

In the case of knee extension, we would have as stabilizers all the antagonists who, because the flexion axis is virtual and not physical, must maintain the stability of said axis. If the axle were physical, such as the wheel in a horse carriage, or on a skateboard through the bearings, the antagonistic muscles would not be necessary for this purpose, because the fixed axis would maintain the position. Since the joints of living beings do not have a fixed physical axis, it is the muscles themselves, specifically the antagonists, who must be responsible for maintaining the stability of the joint creating a virtual axis on which rotation occurs.
