Store A sells the refrigerator for P - P(0.15)

Store B sells the refrigerator for P - 150

Set the equations to equal and solve:

P- P(0.15) = P-150

Rewrite P(0.15) as 0.15P

P - 0.15P = P - 150

Subtract 0.15P from P:

0.85P = P-150

Subtract P from both sides:

-0.15P = -150

Divide both sides by -0.15:

P = -150 / -0.15

P = 1000

The original prices was $1,000

The sale price is 1000 - 150 = $850

Mnenie [13.5K]

Answer:

Margin of error =E=[69]

Step-by-step explanation:

Data provided in the question:

\bar{x}=\$\ 893

\sigma=\$\ 450

n=102

At 88 \% confidence level the z is.

\alpha=1-88 \%=1-0.88=0.12

\frac{\alpha}{2}=\frac{0.12}{2}=0.06

z_{\frac \alpha 2}=20.06=1.555

\text { Margin of error }=E=Z_{\frac \alpha 2} \times \frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}

E=1.555 \times \frac{450}{\sqrt{102}}

Margin of error =E=[69]
