Earth Day should definitely be observed every April 22, although every single day should have the spirit of Earth Day regardless of the date on the calendar. Earth Day is an important reminder that we live on a planet that isn't disposable and should be taken care of at all costs. It's definitely beneficial to set aside a day where the focus is on making lifestyle choices that will better the environment. With the increase of pollution and the drastic reduction of natural resources, we need to know how to preserve the resources we have before they're gone. Earth Day is also a time to learn more about the benefits of recycling and eating local foods for the benefit of the environment.
