2x-5y=3 this eqn 2..


Two things are possible here...
Its either you substitute for x in equation 2... Or you substitute for y...

x=y-4 put this in the equation 2..

2x-5y=3.. Replace the x with (y-4)

2(y-4)-5y = 3...
Since this is In the option no point in substituting for y...
