In Berlin, the Americans, the British, the French and the Soviet divided the ciy into four zones. Three fourths of the city were the western Berlin and the soviet third was eastern Belin. The whole Berlin was under a joint-four power authority. In June 1848, the Soviets closed all highways, railroads from western-filled Berlin to western-occupied Berlin. The intention was to force American, British and French out of Berlin, but they didn't retreat, they supply their sector of the city from the air. Berlin airlift lasted more than a year and brought more than 2.3 million tons of cargo to West Berlin.

As a consequence of cold war Korea was divided into two sovereign states. Both state claimed to be legitimate. The conflict scalated in an open war.  The soviet and the Chinese moved to the south. The United Nations led by the USA which provided 90% of the military force arrived in Korea. At the beginning they were about to be defeated, but then there was a big push to the north close to the parallel 38. Seoul changed hands four times. An armistice was signed on July 27th, 1953.

In Cuba, in the time of cold war, in 1962 there was the Cuban Missile crisis also known as the October crisis of 1962.  Because of the American  deployment of ballistic missiles in Italy and Turkey, Nikita Krushev, the president of the Soviet Union, agreed to the request of Fidel Castro, the president of Cuba, to the deployment of nuclear missiles to deter an American invasion. However, Kennedy, initiated a blockade stating that he would not permit offensive weapons to be delivered to Cuba. An agreement was reached after several days of tense negotiations. The Soviets would dismantle their weapons in Cuba.

Berlin--communism was contained by splitting the city of Berlin between East and West instead of allowing the capital city to fall under the control of the USSR

Korea--the US with the United Nations partitioned Korea into North and South with the North under the influence of the USSR and the South under the influence of the West. The advance of the North was prevented and the partition remained following the Korea War.

Cuba--though Cuba became a communist nation, the US attempted overthrows and potentially an assassination of the communist leader Fidel Castro. When the USSR attempted to put missiles in Cuba, the US was able to negotiate and prevent the missiles.

MA_775_DIABLO [31]

Answer:

The seven hills' denizens began to interact, which began to bond the groups. The city of Rome, thus, came into being as these separate settlements acted as a group, draining the marshy valleys between them and turning them into markets (fora in Latin).
