ladessa [460]

Hello

Your answer is D. They will not affect availability of wind.

Wind turbines use already windy skies to their advantage; making energy.  The wind goes through the turbine, then comes out. It is not changed in any way, and no wind is lost in the process.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day!

I’m thinking that it is probably Antacid tablet’s neutralize stomach acid. Since it would be expected for a purple thing to be purple in all states of matter that’s not weird at all, the helium one just seems like a throw in like why is that a chemical property, water freezing at it’s freezing point is normal, the only one left is the tablet one.

Schach [20]

Answer:

a) T = 298 K

⇒ ΔG° = 173.1 KJ/mol

∴ ΔG° > 0.....the reaction occurs spontaneously in the reverse direction as given.

⇒ K = 4.542 E-31

b) T = 2000 K:

⇒ ΔG° = 1161.745 KJ/mol

ΔG°(2000K) > 0; We confirm that the reaction becomes more spontaneous as the temperature increases.

Explanation:

N2(g) + O2(g) → 2 NO(g)

a) ΔG°(298K) = 2 ΔG°fNO = 2(86.55 KJ/mol)

⇒ ΔG°(298K) = 173.1 KJ/mol

∴ ΔG° > 0.....the reaction is spontaneous

  • K = e∧(-ΔG°/RT)

∴ R = 8.314 E-3 KJ/mol.K

⇒ K = e∧(-173.1/(8.314E-3)(298)) = 4.542 E-31

b) T = 2000 K

  • ΔG° = - (LnK)(RT)

⇒ ΔG°(2000K) = - (Ln (4.542 E-31))(8.314 E-3 KJ/mol.K)(2000K)

⇒ ΔG°(2000K) = 1161.745 KJ/mol

∴ ΔG°(2000K) > 0; We confirm that the reaction becomes more spontaneous as the temperature increases

Vilka [71]

Answer : The speed in meters per second is 17.89 m/s

Explanation :

The conversion used from miles to feet is:

1 mile = 5280 ft

40 miles= \frac{5280}{1}\times 40=211200ft

The conversion used from feet to inches is:

1 ft = 12 in

211200ft = \frac{12}{1}\times 211200=2534400in

The conversion used from inch to cm is:

1 in = 2.54 cm

2534400in= \frac{2.54}{1}\times 2534400=6437376cm

The conversion used from cm to m:

100 cm = 1m

6437376 cm =  \frac{1}{100}\times 6437376=64373.76m

The conversion used from hour to min is:

1 hr = 60 min

The conversion used from hour to min is:

1 min = 60 sec

60 min =\frac{60}{1}\times 60=3600sec

We are asked: 40 miles/hr = ? m/s

40miles/hr=\frac{64373.76}{3600}m/sec=17.89m/sec

Therefore, the speed in meters per second is 17.89 m/s
