We take each number as x = 2x 3x 4x
(2x)³+(3x)³+(4x)³=33957
8x³+27x³+64x³=33957
99x³=33957
x³=33957÷99
 =∛343
x=7
2x=2×7=14
3x=3×7=21
4x=4×7=28
=the three numbers are 14,21,28

Write an equation of a line in slope intercept form that is perpendicular to the line 2x -3y = 12 and passes through the point (
Scilla [17]

Answer:

The equation of the line would be y = -3/2x + 9

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to solve this, start by finding the slope of the original line. You can do this by solving for y.

2x - 3y = 12

-3y = -2x + 12

y = 2/3x - 4

Now that we have a slope of 2/3, we know that the perpendicular slope is -3/2 (since perpendicular lines have opposite and reciprocal slopes). We can use this and the new point in point-slope form to find the equation.

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - 6 = -3/2(x - 2)

y - 6 = -3/2x + 3

y = -3/2x + 9

Help plzz i need help with this question and 9 more in an hourr
REY [17]

Answer:

y=-\cos x

Step-by-step explanation:

The given trigonometric graph is symmetric about the y-axis.

This means it is a cosine function.

The basic is symmetric about the y-axis and has a y-intercept of 1.

Its range is -1\le y\le1

Since the given graph  has y-intercept at -1 with the same range, it is the parent cosine function reflected in the x-axis.

Therefore its equation is y=-\cos x

Stephen borrows $10,000 from his uncle at a simple interest rate of 2%. He repays the loan in full after 3 years. How much money
ohaa [14]

The total amount of money that Stephen would pay his uncle is equal to $10,600.

<h3>How to calculate simple interest.</h3>

Mathematically, simple interest is calculated by using this formula:

I = PRT

<u>Where:</u>

  • I is the simple interest.
  • P is the principal.
  • R is the interest rate.
  • T is the time measured in years.

<u>Given the following data:</u>

Interest rate = 2% = 0.02.

Principal = $10,000.

Time = 3 years.

Substituting the given parameters into the formula, we have;

I = 10000 × 0.02 × 3

I = $600.

Amount of balance;

A = I + P

A = 600 + 10,000

A = $10,600.
