So than given that the diameter of a circle is 28 inches so from this result the radius is d/2 = 28/2 = 14 inches

than the circumference of circle will be equal 2*3,14*14 = 6,28 *14 = 87,92 so rounded equal 88 in.

so this mean that choice c.) is right sure

hope this will help you

Solve for x. <br> 3x / 6 + 1 = 7
Jobisdone [24]

3x/6 +1 = 7

Subtract 1 from each side:

3x/6 = 6

Multiply both sides by 6:

3x = 36

Divide both sides by 3:

X = 36 / 3

X = 12

In a right triangle, angle C measures 40. the hypotenuse of the triangle is 10 inches long. what is the approximate length of th
GarryVolchara [31]
<span>In a right triangle, we know that we have one angle that is 90 degrees. In order to calculate the length of the adjacent side we have to use the cosine function of angle C which will give us the adjacent side length. The cosine function is: adjacent/hypotenuse = cos (40). We know the hypotenuse length is 10, so the equation is now adjacent/10 = cos (40). Solving for adjacent length we get 7.66 inches.</span>

Find the limit of the function by using direct substitution lim (x^2+8x-2) x-&gt; 2
kolbaska11 [484]

Answer:

lim_{x \to 2} x^2 +8x -2

And using the properties of limit we got:

lim_{x \to 2} x^2 +8 \lim_{x \to 2} x - lim_{x \to 2} 2

And replacing we got:

2^2 + 8 (2) -2 = 4 +16-2 =18

Step-by-step explanation:

For this case we want to find this limit:

lim_{x \to 2} x^2 +8x -2

And using the properties of limit we got:

lim_{x \to 2} x^2 +8 \lim_{x \to 2} x - lim_{x \to 2} 2

And replacing we got:

2^2 + 8 (2) -2 = 4 +16-2 =18
