Divide into shapes that you can find the area of.....

you also have to cross out the 5 and the 4s because you will not need them

2×2= 4 sq. cm
2×2= 4 sq. cm
9×2 = 18 sq. cm

18 + 4 + 4 = 26 sq. cm

so the area is 26 sq. cm

An artist uses 18 colors on an art palette to paint a picture. This is 72% of all the colors on the palette. How many colors are
brilliants [131]

Answer:

He actually has 25 paints.

Step-by-step explanation:

This is because you take 18x100(100 is the total % under 72 because 72 is out of 100) that equals 1800. then, you take 1800 and divide it by 72. That is because 72 is the actual number that we already have. You would get 25 after dividing. hope this helps:)

Which lines in the graph have a slope greater than 1 but less than 2?
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

Lines 3 and 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's examine the slope of each of the given lines to have the exact value and be able to answer the question. We use the definition of: slope=\frac{rise}{run}

Line 1: slope=\frac{rise}{run}=\frac{6}{2} = 3

Line 2: slope=\frac{rise}{run}=\frac{6}{3} = 2

Line 3: slope=\frac{rise}{run}=\frac{6}{4} = 1.5

Line 4: slope=\frac{rise}{run}=\frac{6}{5} = 1.2

Line 5: slope=\frac{rise}{run}=\frac{6}{6} = 1

Therefore the lines that have slope strictly greater than 1 and less than 2 are:

Lines 3 and 4

What is the median of 0.8, 1.0, 2.7, 2.8, 3.1, 13.3
tresset_1 [31]

Answer:

2.75

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1:  Determine the median</u>

0.8, 1.0, 2.7, 2.8, 3.1, 13.3

The median of a set is the middle of the set.  In this instance, we have 6 numbers so we don't have a number directly in the set representing the median.  Instead, we need to find the average or middle between the 3rd and 4th number.  So we take 2.7 and 2.8, add them together to get 5.5 and then we divide by 2 to get 2.75 which is our median.

Answer:  2.75
