9514 1404 393

Answer:

  $5

Step-by-step explanation:

If L represents Lisa's earnings, we have ...

  $25 = 5L

Dividing both sides of this equation by 5 gives ...

  $25/5 = (5L)/5

  $5 = L

Lisa earned $5.

The coordinate of centroid of a triangle whose vertices are (1,3,-2), (4,5,0), (6,3,9) is = ……………….
Dominik [7]

Answer:

C = (\frac{11}{3},\frac{11}{3},\frac{7}{3})

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

(x_1,y_1,z_1) = (1,3,-2)

(x_2,y_2,z_2) = (4,5,0)

(x_3,y_3,z_3) = (6,3,9)

Required

Determine the coordinates of the centroid

Represent the coordinates with C.

C is calculated as follows:

C = (\frac{1}{3}(x_1+x_2+x_3),\frac{1}{3}(y_1+y_2+y_3),\frac{1}{3}(z_1+z_2+z_3}))

Substitute values of x and y in the given equation

C = (\frac{1}{3}(1+4+6),\frac{1}{3}(3+5+3),\frac{1}{3}(-2+0+9}))

C = (\frac{1}{3}(11),\frac{1}{3}(11),\frac{1}{3}(7}))

C = (\frac{11}{3},\frac{11}{3},\frac{7}{3})

<em>The above is the coordinate of the centroid</em>

What relations are functions
Inessa05 [86]

The requirement is that every element in the domain must be connected to one - and one only - element in the codomain.

A classic visualization consists of two sets, filled with dots. Each dot in the domain must be the start of an arrow, pointing to a dot in the codomain.

So, the two things can't can't happen is that you don't have any arrow starting from a point in the domain, i.e. the function is not defined for that element, or that multiple arrows start from the same points.

But as long as an arrow start from each element in the domain, you have a function. It may happen that two different arrow point to the same element in the codomain - that's ok, the relation is still a function, but it's not injective; or it can happen that some points in the codomain aren't pointed by any arrow - you still have a function, except it's not surjective.

First let us find the length of JN

JN =JK +KN

JN = 82+105 = 187

JN=187..............(1)

UC= JN -( JH +HU+CN)

We are given :

JH= 22, HU = 96 and CN = 51

plugging all the values we get

UC = 187-( 22+96+51)

UC =187 -169

UC = 18

Answer is UC =18 ( option B)
