Answer:

Why do the population of prey and predators fluctuate differently meaning their respective population rise and fall at different points.

In biology, fluctuation of prey and predators could be attributed to so many factors which are listed below;

Migration of either the prey or predator would allow fluctuation to occur, when prey which is meant to be fed on reduces in number then this leads to competition among predators, hence; overcrowding and then leads to feeding on each other as result of scarcity of prey.

overpopulation of predator could also fluctuate the population of both in such a way one regulate another. When predators are overpopulated, the feeding pattern would be voracious on the prey which might lead to drought or scarcity of prey , hence; causes fluctuation in prey population

The rate at which respiration is occurring in a mammal can be indicated by the rate of
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

All life respires, or breathes. Respiration in mammals is similar to respiration in other air-breathing animals. Respiration extracts oxygen from the air, which is then used by cells. Respiration also carries waste carbon dioxide away from the cells. Although respiration depends on other systems, like the circulatory system, to take oxygen and carbon dioxide to and from cells, the respiratory system has the primary responsibility of bringing oxygen in to a mammal's body and sending carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

(a) Describe the process by which cells produce the FGF5 pre-mRNA , and include the location
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

Explanation:

mRNA (messanger ribonucleic acid) is produced through the process called transcription in the nucleus. Transcription make ribonucleic acid from deoxyribonucleic acid. The enzyme RNA polymerase creates an RNA molecule that is complementary to the template DNA coping all the information on the DNA into the mRNA formed and 3' to 5' cap are added to stabilize the RNA after which this mRNA then moves from the nucleus where it was produced to the ribosome in the cytoplasm for translation of the information that is coded in the bases.

FGF5 is a gene that is encoded in the DNA.
