\rightarrow2|x-6|=24
\rightarrow|x-6|=12

There are two cases:
1. x-6=12\rightarrow x=18
2. x-6=-12\rightarrow x=-6

So the minimum temperature is -6, and the maximum is 18.

-2(x-6)=24
-2x+12=24
-2x=12
-x=6
x=-6

(Maximum)
2(x-6) = 24
2x-12=24
2x=36
x=18

Minimum= -6

Maximum= 18
