The final pressure will be 405.3 kilopascals.

Explanation:

According to the Boyle's Law, the pressure of the gas is inversely proportional to the volume of the gas as the temperature of the gas remains constant.

So,PV = Constant.

Here in this question, the volume of the container is halved.

Let the Pressure of the gas initially be P1 and final pressure be P2. Volume of gas initially be V

So, according to Boyle's Law,

P₁V₁ = P₂V₂PP.

So, 2 \times V = P₂\frac V2.

So, P2 = 4 atm.

1atm = 101.325 kilo pascals.

So, 4 atm = 4\times101.325 kilopascals. = 405.3 kilopascals.

14) A wavelength of radiation has a frequency of 2.10 x 1014 Hz. What is the wavelength of this radiation in nm, and
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:

λ = 1.43 x 10³ meters (radio waves)

Explanation:

c = f·λ => λ = c/f

λ = wavelength = ?

f = frequency = 2.10 x 10¹⁴ Hz = 2.10 x 10¹⁴ cycles/sec

c = speed of light (vacuum) = 3.0 x 10⁸m/sec

λ = c/f = 3.0 x 10⁸m/sec / 2.10 x 10¹⁴sec⁻¹ = 1.43 x 10³ meters (radio waves)

Draw the structure of an alkane or cycloalkane that has more than three but fewer than ten carbon atoms, and only primary hydrog
goldfiish [28.3K]

Answer:

The structures are shown in the figure.

Explanation:

The primary hydrogens are those which are attached to primary carbon.

Primary carbons are the carbons which are attached to only one carbon.

Primary carbons is bonded to three hydrogens.

In order to draw such structure we will draw structures which will have carbon with three hydrogens or no hydrogens (quaternary)

The structures are shown in the figure with clear marking.

The melting point of table salt is 801 degrees celsius. is this a physical or chemical property?
Valentin [98]
It is a Physical property because like water it changes into a ice cube but it can be melted into water or be turned back into an ice cube.
