The precise differences naturally depend on the individual state, but in general, state constitutions tend to be much longer and more detailed. Where as the US Constitution provides a general framework and includes specifics only where necessary, state constitutions tend to enshrine A lot of detailed law that you might expect to find in a statute.

They both have similar importance, but on a different scale. Obviously the US Constitution is superior to other facets of federal law, and also superior to the Constitutions and laws of the states. State constitutions take precedence over state statutes and other aspects of a state law framework, mirroring the relationship of the federal Constitution to federal law, while being a subordinate to it.

What is the story of the resurrection?

(PUT THIS IN YOUR OWN WORDS PLEASE)
lara [203]

Answer:

Jesus' resurrection is a witnessed, but not historically confirmed event, in which, according to preserved testimonies, Jesus was executed by crucifixion and buried in a carved rock tomb. After just over two days, witnesses are said to have observed the tomb empty and Jesus alive. According to many Christians, this could have happened because it was a miracle and therefore evidence that Jesus would actually have been the Messiah, the Son of God. According to many theologians, the resurrection of Jesus is not historically provable, but a matter of faith.

The event is central to the Christian faith, where the traditional theological interpretation is that Jesus overcame death in this way: Jesus paved the way for all who believe in him to arise in the same way at his return. In liberal Christianity, the resurrection can be perceived as spiritual or symbolic.

Why did the Embargo Act fail?
crimeas [40]

Answer:

The Embargo Act of 1807 failed because America hoped to hurt Britain by not trading with them, while attempting avoid war. The Americans thought the British depended on them for Agricultural products, but it was a disaster. It backfired on the Americans when Britain simply traded with Latin America so it was repealed on March 1, 1809.
