Hey there :)

I believe the question is
x + 35 = 2

You need to take 35 to the right hand side in order to isolate x and find its value { Do subtraction when you see addition }
x + 35 ( - 35 ) = 2 - 35
x = - 33

A store sold 50 copies of a magazine for $150. Each copy of the magazine costs the same. Which equation and set of ordered pairs
Goryan [66]

Answer:

Option a. Y=3x

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us use cross multiplication method.

Let the cost of 1 magazine be x.

No. of copies                               Cost

1)50                                                $150

2)1                                                      x

50x=150 x 1               equation(1)

x=150/50

x=$3

Now see equation (1),

150=50x

150=50 x 3

Here let us represent the cost as y and no. of copies as x.

Y=3x

Therefore, a. Y=3x is the right answer.

Thank you!

Drew invests $4000 at 6% for 5 years. How much interest does Drew earn? Remember the formula for simple interest is I=prt.
expeople1 [14]

Answer:

I = $1,200.00

Step-by-step explanation:

First, converting R percent to r a decimal

r = R/100 = 6%/100 = 0.06 per year,

then, solving our equation

I = 4000 × 0.06 × 5 = 1200

I = $1,200.00
