Answer with explanation:

If we have to multiply ,two two digit numbers

The three methods which is given here is:

1.Regrouping :

→→45 × 36

= 170

105

--------

1 2 2 0

2.Partial Products

→34 × 23

 =    20   +    3

30|600  +    90|

+

4 |80     +     12|

=782

3. Breaking apart

→→ 43 × 32

=(40+3)×(30+2)

=40×30+3×30+40×2+3×2

=1200+90+80+6

=1376

In Breaking Apart Model, we break the two digit number such that, 0 is at unit digit and then use the Identity

⇒(x+a)×(x+b)=x²+(a+b)x+ab

In this model we don't have to make table. So, this method is Preferred.

I prefer partial products because we can apply the methods we used from writing two digit times one digit problems and apply them here. It is much more simple than the other methods.

There is a bag with only red marbles and blue marbles. The probability of randomly choosing a red marble is 2 9 . There are 63 m
Tatiana [17]

The main idea is the number of marbles and the denominator of the probability. All you have to do is multiply the fraction by a fraction which is equal to 1 which makes the denominator equal to 63. We know 63 is a multiple of 9. 9 goes 7 times in 63 so we multiple the fraction \frac{2}{9} with \frac{7}{7} which gives, \frac{2 * 7}{9 * 7} which when evaluated gives \frac{14}{63} and the numerator is the number of red marbles in the bag. So there are 14 red marbles in the bag :D

A cabbage palmetto has a height of 80 feet. what is the approximate height of the tree in meters?
frutty [35]
1 foot is about 0,3 meters.
If the height of the cabbage palmetto is 80 feet, it should be about 80*0,3 = 24 meters.

So a cabbage palmetto with 80 feet of height is about 24 meters.

Hope this helps! :)

Round 3,989.23655 to the nearest thousandth
inysia [295]
3,989.237
A thousandth = 1/1000 = 0.001
Round 4th decimal place = 5
5 and over is rounding up and under 5 rounds down so it would be 3,989.237
