Answer with explanation:
If we have to multiply ,two two digit numbers
The three methods which is given here is:
1.Regrouping :
→→45 × 36
= 170
105
--------
1 2 2 0
2. Partial Products
→34 × 23
= 20 + 3
30|600 + 90|
+
4 |80 + 12|
=782
3. Breaking apart
→→ 43 × 32
=(40+3)×(30+2)
=40×30+3×30+40×2+3×2
=1200+90+80+6
=1376
In Breaking Apart Model , we break the two digit number such that, 0 is at unit digit and then use the Identity
⇒(x+a)×(x+b)=x²+(a+b)x+ab
In this model we don't have to make table. So, this method is Preferred.
I prefer partial products because we can apply the methods we used from writing two digit times one digit problems and apply them here. It is much more simple than the other methods.

Because these are on opposite sides of the parallelogram, x + 33 = 4x + 9. This gives you x = 8; OL = 41, NM = 41.
