Answer:

B- Max has 10$. He earns 25.75$ for every lawn that he mows.

D is also an answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

This equation is an example of the formula y=mx+b, where mx is the slope and b is the y intercept, the slope is a continuous thing where as the y- intercept is like a beginning point.

So, A is incorrect because it puts 25.75 as the y intercept when it should be the slope. C is wrong because that is not even the kind of equation we are working with, and E is a different equation. I think the only possible answers are B and D

List the factor pairs of ac for the trinomial 12x^2-5x-2.

Answer:

(3x - 2) (4x + 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

12x² - 5x - 2

Since the first term has a coefficient, you need to multiply -2 with 12 to get -24.

Two factors that add up to -5 and have a product of -24 are -8 and 3.

12x² - 8x + 3x - 2

Rearrange the expression to find the GCF.

12x² + 3x - 8x - 2

3x (4x + 1) + (-1)2(-4x -1)

3x (4x + 1) - 2 (4x + 1)

(3x - 2) (4x + 1)

Systems By Graphing - Solve All Correctly For a Thanks, 5-Stars, And A Brianliest!
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Amari= Graph C and Solution is (-6,-2)

Bella= Graph A and Solution is (3,4)

Carl= Graph B and Solution is (0,-3)

0 solutions because the slopes are the same. The lines will never cross because they are at the exact same angle.

No, I do not agree with Joey because the lines have different slopes and will lead to the system cross which is the solution.

1st graph: y=2x-1 and y=7 solution #1= (4,7)

2nd graph: y=-2x-3 and y=1/2x solution #2= (-2,1)

3rd graph: y=x and y= -1/5+6 solution #3= (5,5)

I had this exact same assignment a few months ago, my teacher didn't use the 2nd slide but I had the 1st and 3rd slide so this should help!

Find the exact value of sec(5pi/ 3) and and sin(7pi/6)
Ann [662]
I know the equation is 1/cos
but is it negative sqrt(3)/2 or positive?
or is it negative 1/2 or positive?
This makes the reference angle π/6 or 30º which gives cos 30º=√3/2 or a sec value of 2/√3=2√3/3
sec(-5pi/6)=-2√3/3
