Why both man women could become victims of violence

Because they all want each other to take orders from one another

All people despite all socioeconomic status can become victims of violence.  Not all people are raised with the notion that physical violence is inappropriate.  Domestic violence happens to both Women and Men.  Most likely due to poor conflict resolution skills.  Poor self esteem in one or both partners contributes to continued violence.
