Area of a rectangle is the product of its Length and Width.

Area = Length x Width

From figure we can see,

Length = 14 ft
Width = 8 ft

So, Area = 14 x 8 = 112 ft²

Thus, the option third gives the correct measure of Area for given rectangle

The perimeter of a rectangular meadow is 1004 m. What
nadezda [96]

Answer:

hope it works for u

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the length of the rectangle = l

the breadth of the rectangle = b

perimeter of the rectangle = sum of length of all sides of the rectangle

                                             = l+ b+ l+ b

                                             =2 l+2 b

                                             =2( l+ b)

∴ perimeter of the rectangle =2( l+ b)

as given perimeter = 1004 m

hence ,

2(l+ b)= 1004

(l+ b)=1004/2  = 502 m

l+ b=502 m

Suppose u and v are differentiable functions of x and that
Nutka1998 [239]

Answer:

B I personally think..

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi,

Use Differential Formula :

d(u(x) • v(x))/dx = u'(x) • v(x) + u(x) • v'(x)

at x = 1 :

d(u(1) • v(1))/dx = u'(1) • v(1) + u(1) • v'(1)

d(u(1) • v(1))/dx = -5 • 6 + 4  • -2

d(u(1) • v(1))/dx = -30 - 8

d(u(1) • v(1))/dx = -38

Hope this helped :)

Find all the x intercepts and y intercepts for the equation f(x) = 2x^2 - 16
romanna [79]
To find y intercepts you have to solve for when x=0.
f(0)=2(0)^2-16
f(0)=0-16
f(0)= -16
y-intercept is (0,-16)
To find x intercepts you have to solve for when f(x)=0.
0=2x^2-16
16=2x^2
8=x^2
+or- 2sqrt(2)=x
X intercepts are (2sqrt(2),0) (-2sqrt(2),0)
