The plant that was importantly grown on the American soil was the maize and potatoes which served as food and cereal for growing babies.

The animal that was of significant to the Americans after the exchange was horse and donkey which serve as a means of transport in mostly North America.

The predominant disease as a result of the exchange include but not limited to smallpox, measles, mumps, whooping cough, influenza, chicken pox, and typhus.
