CLARENCE ODBODY is the name of the guardian angel in the 1946 inspirational film It's a Wonderful Life.

Clarence Odbody born on May 1653 is a fictional character in It's a Wonderful Life. He also appeared in Clarence a sequel of It's a Wonderful Life in 1990. Aside from being a guardian angel, Clarence is also a clockmaker.

In the It's a Wonderful Life, Clarence Odbody who was an angel for 200 years still have not earned his wings. He was given the task to change the mind of George Bailey and make him appreciate his life. If Clarence is successful, he will then win his wings; which he did in the end of the film.
