8 0

Given:

production of electricity in Minnesota in 10^9 kWh

in 2009 = 12 (renewable) = 15% of total production (P)

in 2015 = 25% (renewable) of total production (P)

Total production of the two years are the same.

Solution:

First find P

we know that 12 * 10^9 kWh is 15% of P, or

0.15P=12*10^9

=> P=12*10^9/0.15 = 80*10^9 kWh

For 2015,

25% of P is renewable, therefore

x=0.25P=0.25*80*10^9 kWh = 20 * 10^9 kWh

Hence answer is 20, in units of 10^9 kWh.

The table and the graph each show a different relationship between the same two variables, x and y:
SCORPION-xisa [38]
When x=2 y = 110 which means when when x=1 y = 55
the graph would be 11*55 or 605
The table would be 280/4= 70 70*11=770
Which means the difference is 770-605=165

And slope of the linear equation y+8=3(x−5)<br> ?
Triss [41]

Answer:

slope:  3; vertex:  (5, -8)

Step-by-step explanation:

Compare the given y+8=3(x−5) to the slope-vertex form y - k = m(x - h).  We see that the slope, m, must be 3 and the vertex must be (h, k):  (5, -8).

Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

\frac{x+xy}{y}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

\frac{x}{y} + x

Multiply x by \frac{y}{y} to create a common denominator

= \frac{x}{y} + x × \frac{y}{y}

= \frac{x}{y} + \frac{xy}{y}

= \frac{x+xy}{y}
