When the author talks about "awakening the moral and social conscience of the masses" he is using a nationalist tone, to show that the media used for this awakening, must show a naciolist and patriotic feeling in people from the social and moral point of view, for for this reason, it is contradictory to use a language other than Filipino, to show the rejection of foreign values and concepts.

The author also shows that these media, such as literature, film and music production, must be geared to the needs of the audience they wish to reach, thus drawing attention and audience to the content they are transmitting and valuing, so the use of local language .
