<span>Condyloid joint There are 6 types of synovial joints in the human body. For this question, the 2 types that are most likely are condyloid or ball-and-socket joints. Both of these joint types are very similar to each other, so let's look at them in detail to see which one is the correct answer. Condyloid - Has an ovoid condyle from one bone fitting into an elliptical cavity. It permits movement in two planes, but does not permit rotation. Ball-and-socket - A ball shaped surface of one bone fits into a cup shaped depression of another. This type of joint permits movement in multiple planes and rotation. The key difference between these 2 joint types is the symmetry between them. For the ball and socket, the projection is shaped like a ball which is completely symmetrical whereas for the condyloid, the projection is more ellipsoidal or ovoid which prohibits rotation. And since ovoid is mentioned in the question, the best choice would be the condyloid joint.</span>

If an object turns but maintains the same speed, has its acceleration changed?explain
Andreas93 [3]
Acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity
Since velocity is a vector, it has both speed and direction.
So, if the object is travelling in a straight line at a constant speed, then it will not be accelerating. Both Magnitude and direction are constant.
However, if the object is travelling in a circle at a constant speed, then it'll be accelerating. An Object going in a circle is constantly changing it's direction, which means velocity is changing, so there is an acceleration caused by a net force.
Hope this Helps :)

describe one piece of evidence represented by the contour line on the map that indicates the north side of chimney bluffs is ste
zhannawk [14.2K]

Incomplete question. Attached is the image of the map below.

<u>Explanation:</u>

From the map, we could notice the contour lines around the Chimney Bluff areas are closely packed together. In other words, the spacing between the contour lines is narrower than those found in other locations.

This assertion is accurate because it is a standard practice in many maps to indicate the steepness of an area by having the contour lines in close proximity.

Can mRNA coding for a protein destined to be embedded in the plasma membrane associate with rough ER prior to the initiation of
Debora [2.8K]

Answer:

mRNA must start membrane protein in the cytoplasm and, after that, continue it in the rough ER.

Explanation:

Protein synthesis is initiated when mRNA meets a free ribosome, the primary structure for protein synthesis. Ribosomes can be found in the r<em>ough endoplasmic reticulum</em> or floating in the cytosol. They read the mRNA code and add the correct amino acid using transference RNA to build the protein.

The <u>rough endoplasmic reticulum</u> is in charge of the synthesis and transport of the membrane proteins. It is also in charge of the latest protein modifications after transduction. Synthesis of membrane proteins <u>starts in the cytoplasm</u> with the production of a molecule portion known as a signal sequence. This portion leads the synthesizing protein and associated ribosome to a specific region in the Rough endoplasmic reticulum where it continues the protein building.

Membrane proteins are synthesized in the endoplasmic reticulum and <em>sent to the Golgi complex in vesicles</em>, where it happens the final association of carbohydrates with proteins. Finally, protein is transported <em>from the Golgi complex to its final destiny, the membrane. </em>
