What is the name of the labor system that developed throughout the South after the Civil War kept poor blacks and white working
Komok [63]
Sharecropping was a labor system in which one person and their family grew crops for a large landowner. The landowner would allow them to purchase tools, fertilizer, seed, etc... on credit and when the crop was harvested, the sharecropper would receive a "share" of the crop. Often it was not enough to pay off their credit and the cycle began again. Often known as another form of slavery, but 2/3 of sharecroppers were white.

How can you tell which family member is approaching before you see them family feud?
hammer [34]
The best way to determing who is approaching before seeing them is to rely on other senses. For example, if your uncle never showers then you might be able to smell him even if you can't see him coming. In some cases it may also be possible to tell who is approaching by relying on knowledge about their habits. For example, if someone is coming through the door at six o'clock, and your father usually comes by at that time, then that person is probably your father.
