Are there any choices?
If not, then I would say that Sleeping is the only way to reduce sleepiness.
You can drink as much coffee or other substances as you want, but nothing is going to take away that drowsiness as much as sleeping will.

In an effort to promote rapid growth, the government of Goldinia has kept taxes low, done little to regulate business activities
lianna [129]

Answer:

D. A predominately capitalist approach toward achieving economic goals, but the current pressures it faces suggest it is likely to adopt a more socialist approach in the future.

Explanation:

Goldinia applied a capitalist approach based on low taxes, almost no regulation in business activities and implementing only modest social programs. The goal was to let capitalist activity (market, production, business, etc.) be and let it develop. It is not pure capitalist but predominately capitalist approach, as taxes do exist, there are regulations for businesses and there are social programs, although modest.

However, the government now is receiving pressure to introduce more regulations for cleaning up the environment and reduce the inequalities in income and wealth, which are socialist measures... so it could adopt a more socialist approach in the future.

Antonio and Dina are debating the use of student discounts by local theaters near school. Antonio argues, "When theaters offer d
Ivanshal [37]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "A": Dina.

Explanation:

The fact that local theaters near school offer a discount to students with valid identification is not a form of discrimination. As stated by Dina, there is no age restriction, for instance, and it is presumed, there is no other such religious preference, sexual orientation, race, and so forth. Economists are more likely to agree with Dina since what the local theaters are simply trying to do is to get the more clientele possible out of diverse sources. In this case, the source is the student status.

add: purchases of raw materials - $150

less: raw materials inventory, ending - $40

equals: raw materials used - $160

add: direct labor - $140

add: manufacturing overhead - $160

add: work in process inventory, beginning - $30

add: finished goods inventory, beginning - $80

equals: Cost of Goods Available for Sale - $520

less: finished goods inventory, ending - $100

equals: Cost of Goods Sold - $420

Cost of goods sold (COGS) refers to the direct costs attributable to the production of the goods sold in a company.

This amount includes the cost of the materials used in creating the good along with the direct labor costs used to produce the good.

It excludes indirect expenses, such as distribution costs and general and selling expenses.

Use the following information to answer this question.
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

15.01%

Explanation:

The computation of the return on equity is shown below:

Return on equity = Net income ÷ Equity at the end of 2010 × 100

where,

Net income is $539

And, the equity at the end of 2010 is

= Common Stock + Retained Earnings

= $2,890 + $700

= $3,590

So, the return on equity is

= $539 ÷ $3,590 × 100

= 15.01%

We simply applied the above formula to determine the return on equity
