Answer:

Protein contributes 10 to 35% of the total calories, fat contribute 20-35 % of total calories and carbohydrate contributes 45-60% of total calories.

Explanation:

National academy of science comes up with the dietary recommendation every year since year 1941. These dietary recommendations include the assessment of nutrient-based values of any diet.

One of the key methods is to assess the amount of calories contributed by each food components i.e protein, carbohydrate and fat.

This method defined calorie ranges which are known as Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Ranges.

Protein contributes 10 to 35% of the total calories, fat contribute 20-35 % of total calories and carbohydrate contributes 45-60% of total calories.

What makes ionic bonds different from covalent bonds?
Mazyrski [523]

Answer: IONIC BONDING- When a metallic atom reacts with a non metallic atom, then it forms an ionic bond. For example, Sodium (Na) is a metal that reacts with a non-metal Chlorine (Cl) forming Sodium-chloride (NaCl).

COVALENT BONDING- It is a chemical bonding that occurs when any two non-metallic atoms reacts with one another, by sharing one pair of electrons. For example, Carbon Dioxide (CO₂).

Compared to humans, elephants have a dramatically low instance of cancer. Elephants have multiple copies of the
Yanka [14]

Elephants have multiple copies of the p53 genes that play an important role in the control of cell division.

What is the role of p53 genes in elephants?

P53 is an important regulator of the DNA repair processes and controls uncontrolled cell proliferation. When DNA is harmed, the protein becomes active and aids in orchestrating a response that stops DNA replication and fixes any incorrect copies of the cell. The oncogene MDM2 E3 ubiquitin ligase, another protein, is responsible for deactivating the p53 repair activity in duplicated cells with intact DNA since it is not required.

A human with only two alleles from a single gene has much fewer molecular anti-cancer interactions than an elephant, which has 40 alleles, or versions, from its twenty p53 genes. Although the elephant may appear to have excessive genetic diversity, each of its 40 alleles is structurally slightly different.

I understand the question you are looking for is this:

Compared to humans, elephants have a dramatically low instance of cancer. Elephants have multiple copies of the _____ genes that play an important role in the control of cell division.

What makes archaeology a science rather than a pseduoscience
Sliva [168]
Archeology is a science because it is based on real facts and empirical research including research and scientific methods. It would be pseudoscience if it was based on belief, magic, supernatural things, or anything similar.
