Answer:  The maximum amount Tim's deposit will the money supply is $1,04,895.

Explanation:

Given that,

new cash deposit(DD) = $45,000

Required reserves (RR) = 30% of the deposited amount( $45000)

= \frac{30}{100} \times 45000

= $13,500 ⇒ this much amount banks have to keep with them and the remaining amount is used for giving loans.

Money multiplier = \frac{1}{RR}

= \frac{1}{30%}

= 3.33

So, the maximum amount Tim's deposit will the money supply = (DD - RR) \times money multiplier

= (45000 - 13500) × 3.33

= 31500 × 3.33

= $1,04,895

Following assumptions must hold to ensure that money supply created in the economy from the deposits is at its potential:

(a) All borrowers quickly spend all of their newly acquired fund.

(b) All banks in the banking system lend all of their excess reserves.

SCORPION-xisa [38]

Answer:

B) Total assets increased by $200.

Explanation:

If during Year 2, Chico Company earned $1,950 of cash revenue, paid $1,600 of cash expenses, and paid a $150 cash dividend to its owners. Based on this information alone:

Then it is correct that there was a net income of $350 before the payment of dividend which is gotten by 1,950 - 1,600. Cash from operating activities will also be the same amount of $350.

However it will not be correct to state that assets increased by $200 as there is no such indication.

A company issued a 20-year, $1,000 par value bond that pays semiannual interest of $40. If the semiannual market rate of interes
Kitty [74]

Answer: $828

Explanation:

Given the following :

Semi-annual payment = $40

Period = 20 years

Number of payments = (20 * 2)(semiannual) = 40 payments

Par value = $1000

Interest rate = 5%

Using the PV table:

PV at $1 (40, 5%) = 0.1420

PVA at $1 (40, 5%) = 17.159

[Par value * PV at $1 (40, 5%)] + [$40 * PVA at $1 (40, 5%)]

= ($1000 * 0.1420) + ($40 * 17.159)

= $142 + $686.36

=$828.36

= $826

Simpson Company applies overhead on the basis of 200% of direct labor cost. Job No. 305 is charged with $180,000 of direct mater
sasho [114]

Answer:

$480,000

Explanation:

The computation of the total manufacturing costs for Job No. 305 is shown below:

= Direct material cost + direct labor cost + manufacturing overhead cost

where,

Direct material cost = $180,000

Direct labor cost is

= $200,000 ÷ 200% × 100%

= $100,000

And, the manufacturing overhead cost is $200,000

So, the total manufacturing overhead is

= $180,000 + $100,000 + $200,000

= $480,000
