25. $\frac{3}{4}c - \frac{1}{4}c + 3 = 7$    

$\frac{2}{4}c + 3 = 7$     Subtract 3 on both sides

$\frac{2}{4}c = 4$      Multiply 4/2 on both sides to get "c" by itself

$(\frac{4}{2} )\frac{2}{4}c=4(\frac{4}{2})$

$c = \frac{16}{2}$

c = 8

26. 5(2 - y) + y = -6    Multiply 5 into (2 - y)

10 - 5y + y = -6

10 - 4y = -6    Subtract 10 on both sides

-4y = -16    Divide -4 on both sides

y = 4

28. Use the slope formula, and plug in the points (-2 , -2) and (3, -1):

$m=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}$

$m=\frac{-1-(-2)}{3-(-2)}$

$m=\frac{-1+2}{3+2}$

$m=\frac{1}{5}$
