(x+10) = (2x-25) - (as the two lines on the triangle symbolises the two equal sides and angles)
Now just substitute it, to get x:
10 = x - 25 - (to bring x to the right hand side, you have to minus it from 2x)
35[degrees]= x - ( to gather the like terms, add 25 to 10, to get your final answer)
———
To prove this is correct, add up all the angles and see if it equals 180 degrees:
(x+10)+(2x-25)+90 = 180
45 + 45 + 90 = 180
180 = 180,
So x does equal 35 degrees.

umka21 [38]

2 weeks = 14 days

10 / 14 = 0.71428571428

0.71428571428 * 31 = 22.1428571429

The town received about 22 inches of rain.

If you include the 2 weeks, then it would be 32 inches of rain.

Hope this helps!

Victoria whit used 578 kw-hr of electricity in December the rate is 9.1 cents per kw-hr find the amount of her electric bill
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

The amount of electricity bill is <u>$52.60</u>.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Victoria whit used 578 kwh of electricity.

The rate is 9.1 cents per kw-hr.

Now, to find the amount of her electric bill.

Electricity used = 578 kwh.

Rate of electricity = 9.1 cents per kw-hr.

So, to get the amount we multiply the electricity used by the rate of electricity:

Amount\ of\ electric\ bill=Electricity\ used\times rate\ of\ electricity

Amount\ of\ electric\ bill=578\ kwh\times 9.1\ cents

Amount\ of\ electric\ bill=5259.8\ cents.

Thus, the amount of electricity bill = 5259.8 cents.

Now, converting the amount from cents to $ by dividing:

$1 = 100 cents.

So, 5259.8 cents ÷ 100 = $52.60 .

therefore, the amount of electricity bill is $52.60.

150x + 760000 - 400x = 440250

250x = 319750

x = 1279

Answer:

The measure of angle BCD is 68.5\°

Step-by-step explanation:

step 1

Find the value of x

we know that

m -----> form a straight line

substitute the values

(3x+4)\°+(6x-8)\°+(7x-20)\°=180\°

(16x-24)\°=180\°

16x=180\°+24\°

16x=204\°

x=12.75\°

step 2

Find the measure of angle BCD
